I hope this message finds you well and on behalf of the EHPA Board, our thoughts are with you in these difficult times.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the situation that many individuals and councils now find themselves in, the EHPA Board resolved to waive 6 months of the upcoming 2020/21 membership fees.
This means that you will not receive a membership renewal invoice until December 2020 for the period from 1 January to 30 June 2021. If you still wish to pay on 1 July 2020, please contact our Executive Officer, Bernadet Ferraro, and you will only be charged 50% of the renewal fee.
While this decision does have a financial impact on our organisation, we have managed members’ money prudently in the past so can sustain the loss in revenue. The Board believes it is a difficult time for everyone, and this is one way we can effectively assist our members.
We also acknowledge we are not able to run any workshops in the traditional sense at this time due to social distancing restrictions. Our volunteer members’ ability to deliver our events is limited due to the focus on responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will still endeavour to support our members through other means such as the COVID-19 Guidelines recently released.
Although we are unsure what the future holds, we are hoping that we can get back to a new normal in the first half of 2021.
