Membership Charter Statement

It is our aim to ensure that you are satisfied with the services you receive from Environmental Health Professionals Australia Ltd (EHPA). The EHPAs Members’ Charter Statement sets out the way we conduct ourselves when dealing with you and identifies the major services and products that will be provided to the membership. It will help you understand:

  • what we will do
  • what we ask that you do
  • what you can do if you have concerns

We will…

  • Treat you courteously, honestly and reasonably
  • Implement technology to encourage inclusive, responsive and controlled mechanisms for direct member interaction irrespective of physical location
  • Develop and promote an interactive and user-friendly website for members
  • Develop policies and procedures to ensure transparency in decision making and direct accountability to members
  • Maintain and improve on nationally recognized training through the Registered Training Organization
  • Implement a Continuous Professional Development and Certified EHP Scheme for members
  • Re-establish the Environmental Health Journal
  • Keep the information you provide to us for membership and certification purposes confidential
  • Give you access to the information we hold about you
  • Respect your right to make a complaint without prejudice on the performance and direction of the organization

  • Be honest and factually correct with information you provide to us
  • Abide by EHPA Members Code of Conduct
  • Fulfill your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) responsibilities including keeping appropriate records
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the profession and EHPA as an organization
