In an enlightening lunchtime webinar hosted last Wednesday by the Environmental Health Professionals Australia (EHPA), Ross McKenry, CEO of the Registered Accommodation Association of Victoria (RAAV), shared his passion and vision for improving the standards of rooming houses across the state. Among the valuable resources shared, two stand out for their potential to make immediate impacts: a support services poster designed for rooming house residents and a comprehensive best practice handbook for operators titled "Running a Better Rooming House." On the other hand, the best practice handbook serves as a roadmap for rooming house operators, outlining steps to enhance operational standards, improve resident satisfaction, and comply with regulatory requirements.
